The lightness that makes you forget you're even wearing shoes is due to the original ultra-light cotton midsole and outsole. By pursuing the best balance between the upper material, insole, midsole, and sole, we have achieved not only comfort and comfort, but also lightness.
■You won't get tired even if you wear it all day long
Original sole absorbs shock. The bottom lining uses EVA foam, which is extremely lightweight, has excellent cushioning properties, and is highly flexible. The original bottom pattern provides excellent grip, allowing you to walk comfortably on both wet and dry roads without worrying about slipping. The sole material itself has excellent cushioning properties, reducing the impact from the ground when walking, so the soles of your feet won't hurt.

In order to reduce the stuffy feeling that makes your feet uncomfortable, we use Japanese-made antibacterial, deodorizing, water-absorbing and quick-drying functional materials for areas that come into contact with your feet, such as the insole, insole, and inner part of the body.
■Waterproof Leather Water repellent is infiltrated into the leather body and each fiber is coated. It exhibits superior water repellency compared to products that only have a coating applied to the surface. You can use it with confidence even when it gets slightly wet.
■Manufacturing that is friendly to the global environment
We are working to reduce CO2 emissions during production by using soles made from sugarcane on the bottom lining. Secondary materials such as lining and insoles are made from recycled resources.
■We use carefully selected high-quality materials from Japan and overseas to create beautiful and comfortable shoes.
■Japanese craftsmanship with over 50 years of shoe making
Assembling the shoes together requires craftsmanship born from years of experience. We are able to assemble only about 20 pairs per day, using a meticulous process. At Kurun's workshop, skilled craftsmen handcraft each item with subtle touches based on their experience, such as the feel of the leather and the feeling of pulling.
